Medical Dermal Needling
(Collagen Induction Therapy)
Achieve youthful skin with Medical Dermal Needling
Are you looking for a safe and effective way to rejuvenate your skin? I recommend Medical Dermal Needling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy. It’s the one treatment that can minimize the size of pores, improve the appearance of sun and age spots and broken blood vessels, reduce fine lines and tighten and lift the skin.
What is Dermal Micro-needling?
Dermal Micro-needling is a minimally invasive non surgical procedure that utilizes a needling device to create thousands of fine, vertical channels (micro-injuries) in the skin. The micro- injuries trigger a cascade of wound healing activity that results in the generation of healthy new collagen. Essentially the old skin in replaced with new healthy skin which is plump, firm and hydrated. Dermal micro-needling tackles all the signs of aging. The device I use is called Dermapen4™. This is the latest technology and is much faster than other devices which makes the treatment more comfortable and more effective.
The benefits of Collagen Induction Therapy
Collagen Induction Therapy offers a wide range of benefits for your skin. By triggering the production of collagen and elastin, it helps to improve skin firmness and elasticity. This can lead to a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles, enlarged pores, fine lines, and even stretch marks. By increasing skin turnover, age and sun spots are improved. The treatment also promotes better absorption of topical skincare products, maximising their effectiveness and enhancing overall skin health.
Experience the Dermapen™ Difference
At Aesthetica NZ, we utilise the state-of-the-art Dermapen4™ for our Dermal Micro-needling treatments. The Dermapen™ utilises a 16 needle cartridge which glides over the skin, creating up to 1,920 micro-channels a second with virtually no pain. This process stimulates collagen and elastin production and remodels the skin, resulting in a smoother, healthier looking complexion.
Safe, Effective, and Convenient
One of the significant advantages of Medical Dermal Needling is its excellent safety profile. The treatment is minimally invasive, with little to no downtime. Unlike surgical procedures, there is no need for incisions or extensive recovery periods. Unlike laser treatments, it can be used in the delicate under eye area and there is no risk of heat damage to the skin. The Dermapen™ can be used on various areas of the body, including the face, neck, décolletage, and hands, making it a versatile solution for improving skin quality.
